LG G2 Android 4.4 KitKat update pegged for Q4 roll-out

LG has been the official manufacturer of Nexus smartphones, the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5, for two years in a row, but the South Korean major has not announced Android 4.4 KitKat update rollout plan for its devices, yet.
However, SFR, a French mobile carrier has purportedly revealed that LG will be releasing the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the company's flagship smartphone, the LG G2 in November or December 2013. As per the leaked SFR device listing, the LG G2 is expected to receive the Android 4.4 KitKat update via FOTA (firmware over the air).
